Becky Valentine

Becky Lea Valentine, age 54 of Centerville, Iowa died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Jack H. and Helen Ruth (Price) Brazil on March 3, 1951 in Chariton, Iowa. She graduated from the Centerville Community Schools in 1969.

Becky worked for a time at One of A Kind, Continental Hotel, Mercy Medical Center all in Centerville and was currently working at the Oakwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Albia, Iowa at the time of her death. She was a member of the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville.

Becky was preceded in death by: her father, Jack Brazil and her sister, Rose Mary Brazil.

She is survived by: her daughter, Angela Stufflebeam, and her husband, Jimmy, of Udell, Iowa; son, Matthew Valentine, and his wife, Kristina, of Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho; sisters Brenda Cope of Bloomfield, Iowa and Beth Davison of Chaska, Minnesota; and six grandchildren.

Celebration of Her Life will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 10 AM at the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville, Iowa with Robert Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Russell Cemetery in Russell, Iowa. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 from 1 pm till 5 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville and from 6 pm till 8 pm with the family present at the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville.
